A neighborhood is made up of diverse dempographics and these need to be
considered for differnt use cases in the app. At times of crises like a power
outage, the first elements we need to keep in mind is safety and maintenance of
essential services, especially for those that are vulnerable, and then secondary
is continuity of daily or non-critical activities. The foundaiton of the crisis
management app is the registration of the houselhilds in the neighborhood and
their demogra[hic information. I would specifically ask for infomation rgarding
infants, children in the house and those with any medical needs and have powered
equioment like breathing machines etc. The I would ask for contact informaiton
to reach them during an emergency to both alert as well as ashare ongoing
communcations onon one and for broadcasts. I would also build a feature for
people to be nominated " champions" inneighborhood, to be smaller group leaders
repsonsible for the needs of a small group of houses.
